While the idea of a puppy traveling alone sounds daunting, it is a routine and professional process. In many ways, a well-planned flight or professional ground transport is shorter and less stressful for a puppy than a multi-day car ride with an inexperienced driver.

Our “Safety First” Protocol:

• Climate Control is Mandatory: English Mastiffs are sensitive to heat. We only book transport that guarantees climate-controlled environments. If the weather is too hot or too cold at any point in the journey, we will postpone shipping until it is safe.

• Direct Routes: We prioritize direct flights or non-stop ground transport to minimize time spent in transit.

• Professional Pet Nannies & Transporters: For air travel, we often utilize Flight Nannies who keep the puppy under their care. For ground travel, we use USDA-registered professionals who specialize in giant breeds and understand their specific needs.

• Comfort Kits: Every Hoffam puppy travels with a “scent blanket” that smells like their mother and siblings, helping them feel secure. We also provide specialized hydration and feeding instructions attached to their travel crate.

• Hydration: Instead of water bowls that can spill, we use specialized hydration systems or frozen water dishes that melt slowly, ensuring the puppy has access to water throughout the trip without getting wet or chilled.

Most puppies actually spend the majority of the journey sleeping! The steady hum of an engine acts as white noise, often calming them into a deep nap. By the time they arrive at your door, they are usually ready for a potty break and a long cuddle with their new family.
